Hello Everyone!

*waves*

Hello everyone! If you are anything like me, you have to pay bills this week. You have rent, electric, water, car insurance, car payment, buy groceries, buy gas at close to $4 a gallon! and that is just a FEW of the monthly bills people have!

Did you know it is 85 days until Christmas? And trust me people, it passes fast! You always start the year, in January,  saying "I think I will start shopping NOW, take advantage of after holiday specials." But you never do. You see the red ticket item, and in passing think "Oh, Mom would like this. Oh, Sis would like this." But you never buy it, even if it is close to 75% off! And months pass! Christmas is in the back of your mind, sneaking closer and closer as if it is playing a mean game of red light, green light, teasing you with the holiday colors.

And summer comes. Christmas is the farthest from your mind as the sun makes you sweat and pant! And then, BAM! just like that, summer is gone and there is a chill in the air. And you start to looking at the calendar and realize, oh shit, you only have 5 or 10 more paychecks before Christmas comes. Then you start calculating and you realize, "Hmmm, this might be a tight holiday...again!"

I am a SAHM and I have often felt very guilty about spending my husband's money on HIS gifts. It is like he is buying them himself! So last month, I got the idea to do something about it.

I have done surveys for years now but never really thought about using the payment from those for anything actually useful! I just used it for gas or eating out!

So far, JUST in the past month, I have bought 6 gifts for my husband and 1 for my daughter. Using ONLY money or Amazon gift codes I got from doing surveys. Nothing else. No few extra dollars from the bank account. If I can not get it with just my survey money, I don't get it.

And you sit back, smirking. "But I bet those gifts you got were cheap. Everyone knows surveys are scams!"

Here is my list of things I have bought so far and how much I paid:

Bought on September 16th

1. Xbox 360 game: Stuntman:Ignition  6.99
2. The Tattoo Chronicles by Kat von D 16.21

Bought September 17th

3. American Outlaw (Jesse James biography) 6.46

Bought September 28th

4 and 5. 2 T Shirts with sayings "I didn't escape, they gave me a daypass" and "The more it annoys you, the more fun it is for me"  21.00

Bought on September 30th

6. Hedbandz game 19.07
7. Inked (tattoo book) 6.25

So let's add that up y'all...75.98!

Oh, now I have your attention don't I? How did you do that, you ask? I wanna do that too!

Well in the coming days and weeks, I will teach you! I will teach you my tips. I will tell you the sites. I will tell you everything! No, I am not doing this for referrals. I don't even think the sites I use even DO referrals. I am doing this so that YOU can breathe easier. So that you can get wide eyed at your total, just like I did when I saw my total a few minutes ago!

From this day forward, I will post what surveys I do, how many points I get for that survey and what rewards I cash in. As I talk about each site, I will post what amount of points or cash I already have.

No, doing surveys will not make you rich. You can not quit your job and live off of survey money. But as you saw above, you can easily make a good bit of money for Christmas presents. Since this year is darn near over, I am just focusing on getting things for my husband and daughter. But starting on January 1,2012, I am going to get everything for my entire family using JUST survey money. This list of people will include both my parents, 3 siblings, their spouses, 7 nieces and nephews, my husband and my daughter. 17 people.

Until tomorrow,
Survey Santa
